The new Yankee Stadium is the predecessor to one of the most iconic sports venues in America, old Yankee Stadium. The current Yankee Stadium has been around since 2009, so it doesn’t have the rich history of the old Yankee Stadium, but it does feature some things the old stadium was lacking. When entering the new Yankee Stadium, you emerge onto the Great Hall concourse. This granite and limestone concourse features wide walking areas, team stores, dining options, and sight lines to the field from almost every angle. The interior of the stadium has multiple levels of suites, club areas, a mini baseball field for the kids, martini bar for the adults, and the famous bleacher seats, where the die-hard Yankee fans reside. The most important feature within the interior of the stadium, however, is located just beyond the center field wall, monument park. Monument park is the place where Yankee legends go to live on. There you will find monuments and plaques dedicated to baseball legends like Joe Dimaggio, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, and Babe Ruth.  Yankee Stadium is truly a venue that showcases the franchise’s illustrious past, while providing a modern-day ballpark experience.
